About Jergasmo
Hey there! I am an adult learner of Spanish. If you’re like me and you want to actually talk to people and not just read 100 Years of Solitude in Spanish, this means you need to be comfortable with a lot more than just verb conjugations.
Fortunately for me, I have Spanish-speaking friends, like Gonzalo, who share my passion for language and culture and are willing to put up with my incessant questions about how people actually talk to one another.
Having adult conversations with the abilities of a child means things can get really awkward—and sometimes very funny, usually at my expense—quite fast. I thought maybe, just maybe, someone else out there might want to listen in.
And with that, Jergasmo was born.
